Bend residents don’t have a ton of great internet choices, and BendBroadband is one of the best. It beats fixed wireless providers like T-Mobile and satellite providers like Viasat. But it just can’t compete with CenturyLink’s fiber internet.
BendBroadband vs. CenturyLink: CenturyLink has a larger footprint in the Bend area, and it’s all fiber internet. CenturyLink offers faster speeds for less money, and you won’t have to sign a contract to get them. You’ll pay more for installation, but in the long run, it’s a better deal than BendBroadband offers.

BendBroadband vs. T-Mobile Home Internet: T-Mobile provides 5G home internet across the country, including in Bend, Oregon. Speeds get up to only 182 Mbps max, and you’ll need a line of sight from your home to a T-Mobile tower, but you’ll pay a flat $50 per month with no contract. And if you have a T-Mobile cellphone plan, you’ll see even greater savings. But if you need faster or more reliable internet, BendBroadband is better.

BendBroadband is a local internet provider that operates in Central Oregon, primarily in the area around Bend. Covered communities include Bend, La Pine, Madras, Metolius, Prineville, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, and Terrebonne. Most of its footprint is also covered by CenturyLink.
