Clearwave Fiber prices range from $65 to $85 per month. All plans come with symmetrical speeds and unlimited data, which is fantastic to see. The best value definitely comes from the $85 Fiber 1 Gig plan, which—as the name implies—gets you 1 Gbps download and upload speeds. This means 11.75 Mbps per dollar spent, which is very competitive (and a much better deal than cheaper plans from Clearwave).
We rated Clearwave 3.5 out of 5 for value. Clearwave offers middle-of-the-road value—it’s good, but not great. The prices for 1 Gbps are reasonable, if a little higher than some competing providers. However, the lower-tier plans are more expensive than AT&T, Xfinity, and other options. We’d like to see more competitive pricing on these slower packages.
That said, it’s not that much more than the competition, and $85 for 1 gig is still a great price. We definitely don’t feel like you’re wasting your money by going with Clearwave, which is why we still rated it highly.
It’s also worth noting that all of Clearwave’s prices will increase by $15 after 12 months. This is standard practice, but many providers hide it in the fine print (and increase by more than $15). We appreciate the up-front honesty here.

Clearwave has a surprisingly low number of extra fees. You’ll pay a $99 professional installation fee, which is fairly standard for the industry. There’s also a $10 monthly equipment rental fee—this covers your router, and it’s a bit less than the $15 many other providers charge.

Clearwave offers a $15 per month discount for new subscribers for the first 12 months. This is included in the advertised prices already, but it’s still a good deal. There don’t appear to be any buyouts or other promotions for switching at this time, but you may be able to find one locally by talking to a sales rep.
Clearwave doesn’t offer bundles with other services, which is understandable because it doesn’t offer any other services. The provider is fiber internet only, at least at the time of this writing.
On its website, Clearwave does have a “Research Bundles” button for streaming services, but it’s a little misleading—they aren’t actually bundles. Clicking the button just takes you to a tool that helps you select the right streaming service for your needs.
Clearwave Fiber doesn’t require a contract or service agreement (thankfully!), which means there are no fees or penalties for canceling service. We really appreciate this—sometimes people try a service and decide it’s just not for them, or life happens and they need to move. A lack of cancellation fees means one less thing to worry about.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is an FCC benefit that helps ensure households can access affordable internet for work, school, and other essential activities. The ACP provides a discount of up to $30 per month on internet service.
Clearwave Fiber participates in the ACP, but only in the state of Georgia (at least at the time of writing). This means Georgia residents can take full advantage of the program, but users in other states will need to look elsewhere.
You can find the requirements and a link to apply at the FCC’s ACP page.
