Who are Astound Broadband’s competitors?
Astound is a better value than Sling TV alone. You get more channels than Sling’s Orange and Blue plans combined. And although Astound’s plans are pricier, they include dirt-cheap internet service (for the first year, at least). Plus, with Astound, it’s easier to find all your shows—live TV, streaming apps, and on-demand—in one quick search, rather than having to switch from app to app to find something to watch.
When it comes to channels, WOW! and Cox Communications both have more premium channels included in their top-tier plans. WOW! is a lot cheaper. With Cox, you’ll pay higher prices, but the top-tier plans come with HBO, Cinemax, SHOWTIME, and STARZ.
Canceling Astound Broadband’s service?
Whether you opt for an annual contract or not, canceling Astound is fairly painless because the company doesn’t charge cancellation fees. You’ll just have to call in to cancel, and then mail in any rented equipment.
