Cox is the third-largest provider in the US behind Spectrum and Xfinity. Both competitors offer more channels at a lower price, so if one of them is available to you, we recommend checking them out.
If you mostly stream your entertainment and just want a handful of live TV options, consider cutting the cord and using a live TV streaming app like Sling or fuboTV instead.
To cancel Cox TV, you’ll need to call in or visit a Cox store. You can’t cancel online, but you can pay your most recent bill when you log into your account, which helps speed things along. You’ll have to return any Cox equipment, like your cable box and remote, either in-store or via UPS. Both options are free, but if you cancel before your contract runs out, you pay up to $15 for each month still left on your contract.
