Yes. Optimum is one of the best options for cable TV and internet service in its small coverage area. You get a ton of channels, speedy internet, and competitive prices. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for TV and internet.
It's important to note, though, that prices are locked for the first two years, but jump up in year three. If you bundle services and pay for the most channels and fastest speeds, your third-year price could be $200 higher than your first-year price.

Optimum offers bundles with internet, TV, and even cell service. Because TV is delivered over your internet connection, you will be required to pay for internet to access TV service.
Prices are very competitive, and you can often find bonuses and incentives attached, such as temporary discounts or prepaid Visa cards. Bundling generally makes a lot of sense—not only do you consolidate your bills to a single provider, but you also tend to save some money versus going with different providers for internet and TV.
When switching to Optimum TV service, you’ll need to consider a couple of things. First, we strongly recommend ordering service online to save on installation costs—it can be up to $100 cheaper compared to other methods (like signing up over the phone). Second, you’ll need to decide whether you need the premium installation or if you can get by with the standard professional installation. The standard version is free, but the premium install costs about $50 more. It might be the way to go, though, if you need help setting up your devices.
Finally, you’ll need to determine how many set-top boxes you need. The first box is free, but upgrading to an Apple TV or renting additional boxes costs $10 each on your TV bill per month. Cloud DVR isn't required, but will cost you between $8 and $20 per month, depending on how much you want.
You can always add more storage or set-top boxes later, but to get the best experience, it’s a good idea to make these decisions up front.
Canceling Optimum service is simple. There are no contracts or service agreements, so you just need to call customer service and let the company know you want to cancel. You’ll also need to arrange to return any equipment you’ve rented to an Optimum store (or mail it in), but if you’ve purchased an Apple TV, it’s yours to keep.
There are different numbers for different service areas, so check the Optimum contact page to find the right one for you.
