WOW! tv+ requires that you have WOW! internet, and we like its internet. But if your heart already belongs to another internet provider (or you’re stuck in a lengthy contract), consider a more traditional TV service like Xfinity or Spectrum. You’ll have to sign a contract with these guys too, but you’ll pay less for a comparable WOW! tv+ plan for the length of that contract.
If you want internet-based TV but don’t like the idea of being a beta tester for WOW!’s tv+ apps, check out Astound Broadband. Its Android and Apple apps have better ratings, and its DVR will give you the TiVo experience, which we like. Finally, consider streaming TV instead with a service like YouTubeTV or Fubo.
WOW! doesn’t require a contract, so canceling is pretty easy. You’ll have to call WOW!’s highly rated customer service and mail back your equipment.
