We think YouTube TV is a great choice for cord-cutters. The experience is similar to what you’d get from a cable or satellite TV competitor, but there are no hidden fees to worry about. You can easily find sports, entertainment, news, and live events, and the interface is fantastic (especially on a browser or mobile app). Even on other streaming devices, the interface is easy to use. The parental controls are a little lacking, and you may not be able to watch all your local major league matches or any MLB coverage, but YouTube TV is one of the best live TV streaming options we tested.

To cancel YouTube TV, all you have to do is navigate to your Google account, click the gear icon to get to settings, and click the Membership or Subscription menu option. Then, use the menu items and prompts to complete cancelation. YouTube will ask you why you’re quitting and remind you what you’ll be missing out on, but it’s all pretty painless. You and the family members on your account will lose access when your billing period ends (or immediately, depending on whether you’re canceling free trials or add-ons).
To reactivate, go through a similar process in your accounts settings or search “YouTube TV” and follow prompts to sign up again. YouTube really wants you to come back, so it saves your show preferences in the Live guide, keeps your cloud DVR for 21 days, and saves your library settings forever.
YouTube TV worked pretty well with every device we tested. You can watch on your PC or Macbook using the Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers. You can also stream via mobile apps for Apple and Android, or use a variety of streaming devices or smart TVs. Chances are good you have at least one of the following lying around somewhere:

Free trials are available to anyone who hasn’t used a free trial before.
