Who are Fubo’s competitors?
The Fubo streaming service brags about its sports coverage, and there’s a lot to love! The top competitors for sports in the streaming space are YouTube TV, Sling TV, and ESPN+. Fubo costs about the same as top competitors each month but offers unlimited cloud DVR recordings, while Sling TV offers lower-priced packages but no local channels. ESPN+ has a bigger focus on college sports and documentaries and costs a fraction of the price.
We recommend Fubo for international sports, particularly overseas soccer matches, but encourage use of the free trial because the service may not carry your favorite team.
Compared to traditional cable and satellite TV, Fubo costs about the same (or a little more) every month. It doesn’t require contracts, which is refreshing, but there is still a hidden regional sports fee to deal with, plus a cloud DVR limited to 1,000 hours.

In our tests, Fubo was one of the best ways to watch shows and matches away from home.
We didn’t have any trouble with simultaneous streams (you get up to 10 at home). Games were crystal clear on mobile and loaded quickly, and the interface was sleek and familiar across devices.
Like most competing streaming services, Fubo requires you to share your location information while you’re on the road. We don’t love it, but we get that certain channels have strict rules around where they’re shown.
