If you love international soccer (football) and a wide variety of live sports, Fubo is a good choice. You get a truckload of games and matches with the introductory tier, which costs about the same as basic packages from competitors. That said, having a really strong sports lineup doesn’t necessarily mean Fubo will have your team. It doesn’t offer TNT or NBC Sports, and there are some gaps in local network coverage in certain regions. We highly recommend the seven-day free trial.

Canceling Fubo is much easier than canceling traditional satellite or cable TV, and it’s even easier to cancel than most competing live TV streaming providers. All it takes is the click of a button, and cancelation is confirmed. You still get asked why you left, but we loved that the survey came after cancelation. We also liked that we got a confirmation email (without an upsell) right away.
Reactivating the service is also simple. You’ll be charged the full monthly price up front, plus local taxes and a regional sports fee. Most competing live TV streaming services, such as YouTube TV, give you the real price up front, so this hidden fee was a little disappointing to see with Fubo.
There are four tiers with Fubo, including a Latino plan and the English-language tiers Pro, Elite, and Ultimate. You get high channel counts with each tier, and the most events in 4K resolution with the two highest tiers. If you still want more, you’re in luck!
There’s a selection of add-ons, including the following:
We tested Fubo on a variety of smart TVs, mobile devices, laptops, and streaming devices, including an Apple TV and Amazon Fire Stick. It worked well on each device, and the interface was similar across devices. It even worked on the Microsoft Edge browser, and that’s not common in the live TV streaming space. The service officially recommends using the Chrome browser, but we didn’t see huge differences between browsers in our tests.
Better yet, Fubo has great help documentation for different devices. Check compatibility on the company site.
You can try Fubo free for seven days before you’re charged the monthly price. We liked that we got an email reminder when our trial was almost up. Because Fubo has a strong reputation for sports coverage but some significant gaps, we highly recommend taking advantage of the free trial.
